Broker Business Portal (BBP)
The small group side of the BBP is being enhanced to improve speed and overall functionality. For the next few months, the small group functionality will be down for maintenance on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. This is for new and renewal business. BluePride (ACA-Compliant Plans)

**Social Security number soon required for BluePride subscribers**
Starting Feb. 1, 2021, for BluePride groups (2-50 employees) that come through the Broker Business Portal, the subscriber’s Social Security number must be included with the census information in the new Master Group Application. The Social Security number will not be required for dependents.

Update: The 2021 Premium Wellness Program offers more opportunities to earn rewards. BlueFlex subscribers earn points as they move through the four new Vitality Status® tiers. Enter final quote data for groups for BlueFlex through the UWDataHub. Employees must enter their personal health information using the link that you will create after saving your group's information. Employee health information will then be used for underwriting.

Effective Jan. 1, 2019, we will no longer accept paper applications (or PDFs of paper applications) for both new sales and renewals of BlueFlex, BlueFreedom and Large groups. Applications for these groups must be submitted through the underwriting data hub.

Please note: We are still allowing GRX and that process remains the same.

BlueFlex Sold Case Documents

Effective Sept. 1, 2020, reporting is provided directly by BCBSNE. The broker or general agent will receive an email notification when reports are available each month. The reports are accessible monthly through a secure site. Please reach out to your group's account management team for more information.

Effective May 1, 2021, BlueFlex Aggregate Reports will be delivered through the BBP. This will provide an easier experience for our brokers and agencies. Now we will be able to share reporting at the General Agency (GA) level as well as the individual writing agent level. The reports will remain on the portal for six months after the contract end date.

Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute

We provide brokers with group specific reporting to assist in the filing and payment of PCORI forms and fee’s to the IRS. Please reach out to your account management team to request a report.
