As you engage with the program, you will earn points toward rewards by completing activities designed to help you achieve optimal health. You earn rewards each time you reach a new Status level (Silver, Gold and Platinum) and for each point accumulated (Vitality Bucks). Your status level reward and Vitality Bucks can be redeemed in the online mall.
Use Your Status Level Rewards and Vitality Bucks in the Vitality Mall
You can redeem your Vitality Bucks within the Vitality Mall for gift cards and fitness devices. For every Vitality Point you earn, you receive one Vitality Buck. Vitality Bucks never expire, so you can save them and purchase your desired gift card or fitness device anytime.
Earn Points
There are many ways to earn points. You can earn points through:
- Taking the Vitality Health Review
- Physical activity (see tips below)
- Online courses and webinars
- Preventive visits
- Goal setting
- And much more
Sync your tracking device and watch your progress from your smartphone. You will receive points for light activity to extreme workouts. Here are some tips to getting more steps throughout your day:
- Walk around the house while you brush your teeth. Doing this for about two minutes could get you an additional 100 steps
- Do an extra lap around the perimeter of the grocery store without adding extra to your cart
- Carry in grocery bags one at a time
- Do a five-minute cleanup before bed
- Remember to wear your tracker when doing housework
