Biofeedback

Biofeedback is a process whereby electronic monitoring of a normally autonomic (involuntary) bodily function is used to train the patient to acquire voluntary control of that function.  
 
Biofeedback is considered an acceptable medical practice with payable benefits when used as adjunctive therapy.
