How can I add an individual provider to the TRICARE roster?

Credentialing Variances for TRICARE Network in Nebraska

What happens if a provider has disciplinary actions on their state license?

Providers with actions on their state licenses cannot be offered participation in the TRICARE network.

Are there specific board certification requirements for certain providers?

Yes, PAs, CRNAs and CNMs must be board certified to be offered participation in the TRICARE network.

Can provisional providers participate in the TRICARE network?

No, provisional providers are excluded from the TRICARE network.

Accreditation Requirements

What are the accreditation requirements for birthing centers?

Birthing centers must be accredited by TJC, AAAJHC, CABC or AABC and licensed according to state and local laws.

What accreditation is required for Substance Use Disorder Rehab facilities?

These facilities must be accredited by TJC, CARF or COA.

What are the accreditation requirements for Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)?

IOPs must be accredited by TJC, CARF or COA.
