WellAware rollout beings Jan. 1, 2027
Beginning Jan. 1, 2027, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE) will begin rolling out WellAware to eligible members.
WellAware gives members a personalized, easy-to-understand view of their preventive screenings based on claims. Through WellAware, members can:
- Review their preventive care progress
- Identify key health focus areas
- Receive recommended next steps
- Connect with care management and wellness support
Members can access their health profile anytime through myNebraskaBlue.com or the Nebraska Blue app.
Rollout schedule
- Jan. 1, 2027: WellAware will begin rolling out to members of groups renewing Jan. 1, 2027.
- By March 31, 2027: The rollout will be completed for all other groups.
Members will receive an email when their WellAware profile is available. From there, they can log in to review their preventive care gaps, health focus areas and recommended next steps.
WellAware complements the care that members receive from their providers. It does not diagnose or treat medical conditions, and participation is encouraged but not required.
