Step 1: Complete your CAQH application

We partner with CAQH to streamline your credentialing process.

With one online application, you can share your information with more than 650 health plans, hospitals and practitioner groups.

To begin:

• Complete your CAQH profile.
• Ensure all information is attested and up to date.
• Providers must be licensed to be credentialed (some exceptions may apply).

Step 2: Submit your application through eApply

After completing CAQH:

• Go to eApply.
• Register for an account if you don’t already have one.
• Log in and follow the instructions to submit your initial Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE) application.

Once submitted, the BCBSNE credentialing team receives a notification to begin review.

BCBSNE will use the information you provide in eApply to pull your verified details from CAQH. Requests are processed in the order they are received.

Please do not submit requests more than 60 days before the provider’s start date.

What to expect after you apply

• You will receive an email from the BCBSNE credentialing team after your request is received and validated.
• When the credentialing process is complete, you will receive an approval letter with next steps.
